Communication Specialist (Mesa Location)

The position of Communication Specialist is the most important position at MDS Communications.  These are the employees who contact donors and prospective donors on behalf of our non-profit clients.

Requirements:  None, although outbound telephone fundraising or telemarketing experience and a commitment to the causes we represent are strongly considered during the selection process.

Compensation:

          Starting Wages:  Starting wages vary between $10 and $15 per hour depending on experience, shift, full-time status and location.  Please consult the HR staff in your location or our current advertising for specifics.

          Performance incentives:  Up to $7 per hour.

          Health Insurance, paid vacations, paid holidays.


Application process:

          1)  Either fill out the application below and fax it in or come into our office and fill out an application in person.

          2)  Our HR staff will review your application.  If there is sufficient interest, you will be contacted for a brief screening interview by telephone.

          3)  After the screening interview you may be invited to attend a group interview process that lasts approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.  During the interview you will be given a tour of the office, listen to recorded calls and make sample calls with the staff.  The goal of this interview is twofold:  to give us enough information to make the final hiring decisions and to give you a good understanding of what the job of Communication Specialist is like so that you can make an informed decision on whether this is the right job for you.
